The Halifax Association for Community Living (HACL) is a longstanding not-for-profit organization that is run by a volunteer Board of Directors. HACL has served the Halifax Regional Municipality since it was founded in 1958. We support adults, youth and child with intellectual disabilities by providing programming in our community. HACL also supports their families through family-centered programming.  We are excited to announce HACL is seeking new board members for our volunteer board of directors. We are looking for dynamic individuals with a passion for inclusion of persons with disabilities and interest in serving the Halifax community. Our goal is to create a strong and diverse board that has multiple perspectives and talents. This is an exciting time to join a transitioning organization that is building new and exciting opportunities for our community. *Please note that we seek a 6 month to one year commitment.
