Who we are: Chebucto Links is a non-profit organization, that provides social programming, information, and resources to seniors in HRM since 1995. We are committed to helping seniors stay connected and active in the community. We provide programming to seniors by delivering fitness programs, social groups & games via Zoom. Our Mission: Chebucto Links Senior Support Association provides community programs, information, and resources for seniors. Our Values: Seniors are active, informed, and socially connected. The Role: We are seeking new volunteers to join our Board of Directors. The term is for 2 years with possible renewal up to 3 terms. Who should apply: We are looking for new Board Members (19 years old +) who can enhance our Mission & Values. We ask that Board Members commit to: Being interested in creating a safe and active community for seniors. Attend Board meetings (once a month, except for July, August, and December). Prepare for Board meetings by reviewing advance materials. Develop an understanding and appreciation for the organization’s mission, vision, strategic plan, bylaws, and financial position.
