Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia (Volunteers Needed for Best Dressed Quacker Contest)

• Appropriate for volunteers aged between 18 and 55

The corporate ducks for the Alzheimer Society’s Alzheimer Duck Derby are all dressed up and ready to be shown off! From September 12-13, we will be at Mic Mac mall with our Best Dressed Quacker Contest. This provides a chance for people to see the corporate ducks all decorated, vote for their favorite and adopt their lucky duck for race day. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to help us out. Volunteers will encourage people to visit the display and help with the voting process. We will have two shifts per day: Friday, September 12: 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. 1:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday, September 13: 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. 1:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. If you are able to help out, please e-mail Michele.charlton@asns.ca as soon as possible with the shift you are able to work.
