Suggested ‘friendship’ activities may include: phone calls, spending time over a shared interest such as watching movies or sports, chatting over a cup of coffee, visiting a mall, or anything that is of mutual interest. It’s up to you! The position is intended to develop into long term friendships and social relationships between the volunteer and the stroke survivor.
