VON Canada provides a wide range of home care and community support services across Ontario and Nova Scotia.
VON has been part of the Greater Halifax community since 1898. We have a long and proud history — and a bright and exciting future — of providing outstanding home and community care in the region.
Most people know us for our in home nursing supports, but our community programs are supporting more clients than ever, which means the need for volunteers has never been greater. In 2021, almost one thousand Nova Scotians received Meals on Wheels deliveries. Without volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to provide well-balanced, affordable meal options to those who need the extra support.
