Halifax Regional Police (HRP) is responsible for policing the urban core of the Halifax region as well as the area commonly referred to as the Sambro Loop and the Purcells Cove – Herring Cove Loop.

HRP is committed to providing volunteers with positions that are both challenging and rewarding. We have a deep appreciation for the contribution our volunteers make and will make every attempt to ensure that your volunteer experience is a positive one.
