What is the Dump and Run?

The Halifax Dump and Run is Halifax’s largest community garage sale! Our goal is to divert waste from local landfills by collecting items people no longer have use for and selling them (discounted) at a gymnasium-sized indoor yard sale in order to raise money for charitable organizations. Last year over $13,000 was raised for charities throughout Nova Scotia.
