Frontier College is a non-profit “charity” (not your typical college). We provide FREE tutoring to UNDER-SERVED children, youth and adults in reading, writing, numeracy, homework, and English language skills.

In Halifax, every year we train 150 “volunteer tutors” who tutor the learners in community centres, schools and libraries. We have been in Nova Scotia for over 100 years.

Our tutors can choose from a variety of different volunteer opportunities. It is fun and rewarding, and addresses a growing need in our community.
