Breast Cancer Action Nova Scotia is a non-profit provincial organization formed in 1994. We are an organization of survivors and supporters that focuses on the concerns and needs of those affected by breast cancer through support, education, networking and advocacy. Our programs include, but are not limited to, peer-to-peer support for breast cancer patients, the only breast cancer support group in HRM (Pink Panthers), education talks, public presentations, the Live Pink program for teen breast health, Nova Scotia Breast Cancer Resource Directory, and the Rosanna Bechtel Memorial Library. We are a survivor-driven group who depends on our amazing volunteers so that we can continue offering our programs and resources.
