Join us for an afternoon of family fun, creative movement and dance – all ages and abilities welcome! No experience required!
Canada’s National Ballet School’s Sharing Dance is offering an afternoon of free and engaging dance activities for participants of all ages. The event will take place in the BMO Community Room at the Halifax Central Library on Sunday, November 5th from 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. The activities will include a Creative Movement Workshop for families, a demonstration class of the Tea & Tango dance program for seniors led by Martina Sommer, and more! Light refreshments will also be served. This is a great chance to get some exercise and have fun so gather your family, friends, neighbours, and coworkers and get dancing!
Event Schedule
• 1:00 p.m.- 2:15 p.m. Creative Movement Workshop for Families (all ages)
• 2:15 p.m.- 2:45 p.m. Break
• 3:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. Tea & Tango Class led by Martina Sommer
• 4:00 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. Break
• 4:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. Open Discussion about Dance Programs for Seniors with NBS staff and partners
