For the first time ever, Symphony Nova Scotia presents Bach’s grand and glorious Christmas Oratorio. By turns dramatic, contemplative, and triumphant, Bach’s beloved holiday favourite tells the story of Christmas through six festive, inventive cantatas. Hear highlights from this great work with world-renowned baroque conductor Kevin Mallon, four hand-picked guest soloists, and the nationally recognized Halifax Camerata Singers. Don’t miss this rare performance of a holiday masterpiece! TWO PERFORMANCES: Saturday November 28, 2015, 7:30 pm, and Sunday November 29, 2015, 2:00 pm.
