American Symphonic Hits with Alain Trudel

Canadian star conductor Alain Trudel leads our orchestra in some of the biggest symphonic hits in American history. Hear Oscar-winning film composer Erich Korngold’s lush, romantic Violin Concerto – a popular hit since its 1974 debut – performed by the Toronto Symphony’s virtuoso Concertmaster, Jonathan Crow. Then, we play Copland’s radiant Appalachian Spring and Barber’s heart-wrenching Adagio for Strings, two stunning works not performed by our orchestra in almost 10 years.
