In rural Atlantic Canada there are 41 Corporations dedicated to the development of small business and job creation. CBDCs have been in operation for over 25 years and take their name and origin from a series of programs such as CESA, LEDA, LEAD and Community Futures, which date back to 1975.

I was raised to volunteer: nursing homes, clinics, church nurseries, school, everywhere that could use help. It’s such an intrinsic part of me, to use my life to help improve the quality of others.
