Opportunity Description:

We are looking for volunteers to help out on Halifax Pride Parade Day: Saturday, July 20. As volunteers we will have snacks available for you throughout the day!   Volunteers are needed in the following areas (times may be revised closer to the day):   1) Parade Marshalling Grounds BBQ (at Halifax DND Dockyard) – Assist with BBQ set up: around 9-10 am – Handle money and payments of BBQ: 10 am – 2 pm – Assist with BBQ tear down: 2- 3 pm   2) ACNS Pride Float (starting at Halifax DND Dockyard) – Help decorate our pride parade float: 9 am – 1? – Join us and be beside and/or on our pride parade float: Noon – 3:30?   3) Staff the Totally OUTright survey booth at Pride Festival Site (Garrison Grounds) – Booth set up: noon – 2 – Staff info / survey booth: 2 – 6 (staggered starting/ ending times possible) – Booth tear down: 5:30/6   For info about BBQ and pride parade float roles contact Emily fund@acns.ns.ca or 902-425-4882 ext. 228.   For info about Totally OUTright booth roles contact Chris GMHC@acns.ns.ca or 902-425-4882 ext. 222.
