Opportunity Description:

Ocean View Continuing Care Center has exciting volunteer opportunities for youth aged 13-18!  Throughout the summer, volunteers will connect with and support seniors while gaining valuable work experience during recreation activities like games, bowling, nail painting, movie nights, day trips, live music, and much more.  Duties will include transporting residents to and from activities, assisting in activity set up and take down, visiting with residents 1-on-1 and assisting with the supervision of activity attendees. Our volunteers will need the following skills to be successful in the program: patience, empathy, accountability, reliability, and an interest in assisting seniors. Ocean View’s Teen Volunteer Program begins July 1st, and ends August 30th.
