Opportunity Description:

Parker Street Volunteer Opportunities Client Servers-   Volunteers take clients into the serving area and help clients select food items Food bank days are Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays between 8:30am and noon. Food Sorters- Volunteers help sort and organize incoming food (fresh, canned and dry). Office Assistant- Volunteers help to answer phones, do some filing, stuffing envelopes for mail-outs and other clerical duties as needed. Assistant Truck Driver- Assist truck driver with furniture deliveries and pickups. Customer Service Assistant- We have two thrift stores ‘Great Things in Store’. Stores are located in Dartmouth at 110 Woodlawn Road and 334 Herring Cove Road. Volunteers assist the head clerk; organize clothing and other items, tidy up the work area.
