Since his last appearance with our orchestra in 2012, Halifax singer-songwriter Ben Caplan has played more than a thousand shows worldwide, earning rave reviews from fans and media alike. He’s become “a phenomenon that can’t be easily forgotten” says Rolling Stone (Germany), with a trademark blend of folk, gypsy, blues, and orchestra that’s “gritty, loud, wild and anguished” (The Guardian). Now, Ben returns home with old favourites and brand-new orchestral arrangements for an unforgettable symphonic showdown. ONE PERFORMANCE: November 20, 2015, 7:30 pm.
